Join in as NTCC begins a new series teaching through the parables of Jesus called “Storyteller.” This week, Lead Pastor Derek Olsen highlights the parable of the sower focusing on the condition of our hearts. To have a heart the bears spiritual fruit we can:
1. Receive God’s word with an open heart and mind.
2. Sow God’s word wisely.
3. Persevere: God’s word will take root, don’t give up.
4. Remove the rocks and thorns from your life.
In facing sufferings, God is still at work. Pastor Derek Olsen is teaching that our faith produces joy as we continue to walk and trust in Christ for the hope and future that awaits us.
This week we take a look at Romans 4 and learn what God’s Word says about the differences between being saved by works or faith. Using Abraham’s life as an example, we see that we are truly save by grace through faith in Jesus.
