FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Have a question about the church? Maybe someone has already asked! Check out these common questions with our answers.

We understand that your first time at a church, any church, may bring up some questions.  How do I get there?  What should I wear? What is available for my children? What can I expect during the services?

Here are the answers to some answers to frequently asked questions

Service Times : Our worship service times are Sundays at 8:00 am, 9:00am and 10:30am. Our 8:00am is a Drive-in Service, our 9:00am is a Traditional Indoor Service and our 10:30am is an Indoor Contemporary Service. Children’s programs for toddlers through 6th grade are offered at our 10:30am Service. The 10:30 service is live streamed on Facebook and a taped version is available Mondays on our Vimeo page.

Casual Dress: Most people at NTCC dress very casually. Jeans, shorts, and business casual are all very appropriate. We’re more interested with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. Come to NTCC in whatever is comfortable to you!

Parking: As you come down the driveway to the church, handicapped parking is located along the front of the building. If you are a first time visitor, there are visitor spots available in the first row.

Arrival: As you enter the building you will be met by one of our friendly greeters who will give you a bulletin and can assist you to the auditorium, help direct you to the children’s check-in area, or answer any questions you may have.  Our coffee station is currently closed for COVID precautions, so please feel welcome to bring in your own coffee. In your bulletin, you will find a Connection Card which we use to get acquainted with you better. You can fill this card out and drop it in the offering container later in the service or in the designated baskets at the Information Table on your way out of the sanctuary after services.

Age-appropriate Services for Kids: KidZChurch and HiSKidZ Children’s Programming are the perfect places for your children, infants through 6th grade, to learn and have fun! While we normally recommend you arrive about 15 minutes before the service to check them in so you won’t feel rushed.  If you prefer, they can accompany you to the adult service.

Creative and Authentic Worship Services: New Testament Christian Church strives to bring the 2,000-year-old message of Christ to people in a manner that relates to their lives today. The message of the gospel is impactful by itself, but it becomes personal and memorable when supported with a combination of great music, creative illustrations and video clips—taking God’s truth from the complex to the simple. It’s real and relevant.

Communion and Offering: Communion is offered during every worship service to all believers. We also take up an offering each week; however, when the offering time comes, please know that you are under no obligation to give. Giving is an act of worship for those who call NTCC their church home.

Additional Information: Please stop by the Information Table located by the front foyer and someone will be able to answer your questions. If you don’t have a Bible, please help yourself to one of our complimentary Bibles. Be sure to read your bulletin for upcoming  events, classes and ways to become involved at NTCC!
